Nicole Ari Parker was born in New York City. Nicole Ari Parker is an American stage and film actress. The most well-known role she has played is as Teri an ardent attorney Teri Jospehson, on the Showtime show Soul Food. Her name is currently her husband's name, Nikki Kodjoe. Her birthplace and childhood was in Baltimore Maryland. In her early years as an infant, she showed an aptitude for acting and won the Best Actress Award at a Maryland High School Contest.
