Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14. Aspen Ladd was trained in kickboxing, BJJ, wrestling and boxing before her professional debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and then went on to a three-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in each fight. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian prior to going to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her in an unanimous decision. This put an ominous mark on her records in her amateur. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent bout with Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. The next time she fought, she won with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's superior wrestling skill defeated McGill, and she was able to stop her third round via TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd was unable to reach her weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place on UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound for a second-round TKO victory. When she next faced Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd beat Evinger within the first minute and earned a reward for her performance on the evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first match she's had in a major capacity. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous victory, and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award came to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to end Ladd and her streak. After a short break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a match that was a replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by majority verdict.
