Gerina Stevenson, who is the Mexican mother from Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson, is birthed in Mexico. Her parents are Mexican and American. Her entire life has been a sports enthusiast. Gerina played golf for the first time at age 15. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School. As a high school student, Gerina won in the New Mexico golf state tournament. Also, she was a volleyball player who competed at the national level. In 2003, she started her studies in the University of Texas. In her senior year she was a winner of every tournament that was entered. In her undergraduate professional career, she took home an award for Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year Award and UTEP Female Athlete of the Year.
